Participation of representatives of Association Generations in closing event project IGTrain

The closing event for Bulgaria under the project IGTRAIN was held on the 25th of August 2015 in Sofia. The event has been organized with the support of the Bulgarian Association for Human Management. Despite the holiday season the information day devoted to the transfer of knowledge from generation to generation provoked interest. Over 35 people participated in the event.

Valya Dankova (Bimek, Bulgaria), coordinator of the international project, presented the idea behind it, the partners, their actions for the implementation of the project and the project results. Mr. Bruno Silva, representative of Waterpolis Portugal, the partner in charge of the pilot trainings, shared the experiences from the different countries, as well as some conclusions and recommendations based on the conducted pilot trainings at the workplace.

Ms. Tanya Gebova from Association Generations spoke on the subject “Overcoming differences between generations at the workplace” and presented a platform for online training for intergenerational work ECIL. At the closure of the information day an interesting fresh idea has been presented for intergenerational exchange that already for a third year is realized with the help of Gabrovo Municipality. Veronica Yosifova, author of “Take me in your village!” initiative presented the idea and the results.

Among the participants there were representatives of all potential multipliers of the idea of ​​promoting training and learning at the workplace and providing additional competencies of older employees for intergenerational transfer of knowledge. IGTrain3
